I've been working on M.E.C. (Mobile Exploration Complex), my sci-fi planetary exploration vehicle, for almost a year now. The last two weeks have been a nightmare trying to get the vehicle animated over rough terrain. Between rigging issues, suspension calculations, and building a custom curve system to control the body movement, I needed a break. So I took a moment from troubleshooting and made this little 360° animation of the crew performing maintenance on one of the massive expandable wheels. Everything is modeled and rigged in Blender.
