External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov in Azerbaijan’s Baku to discuss bilateral issues and stress the timely implementation of agreements reached at the highest level. The meeting follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s August visit to Uzbekistan, during which the two countries upgraded ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership and set a $5 billion bilateral trade target.
