Hey everyone! I’m building Spirkz, a side project that turns the familiar short-video feed into a place to learn something. Think TikTok-style scrolling, but focused on educational videos about science, history, technology, and more. It’s available on iOS and Android and recently crossed 2,000 users. The app already has courses, creator publishing, and a new Threads feature for discussions. Now I’m trying to figure out what would actually make it more useful, rather than just adding features for the sake of it. Beyond discussions, what would you want from an app like this? Quick quizzes after videos? A structured learning path? A way to revisit what you’ve learned? Or something completely different? I’d especially love to hear what would make you come back regularly—and what frustrates you about existing learning apps. If you want to take a look: https://www.spirkz.com Honest feedback is welcome, including reasons you wouldn’t use it! submitted by /u/ElkSubstantial1857 [link] [comments]
