Bazil De Bruyn, a former executive at oneZero Financial Systems, has launched an advisory business that helps brokers and proprietary trading firms choose technology vendors. Elevate Edge, based in Limassol, Cyprus, announced the launch today (Wednesday) and said it also works with banks.Brokers and prop firms buy platforms, CRM, liquidity and payments from outside providers, and a poor fit can delay onboarding or payouts, the company said. It cited Gartner data showing only 48% of enterprise digital initiatives meet or exceed their goals.London's trading industry is coming home!De Bruyn spent nearly a decade at Autochartist, the market analytics provider that oneZero bought in February 2025 to fold its analytics engine into its own infrastructure. He then served as director of business development at oneZero, according to the release.Diagnostic Comes Before the Vendor ListElevate Edge says each engagement opens with a review of a client's revenue leakage, operational bottlenecks and fragmented systems. The review can cover providers from CRM and liquidity to cybersecurity, AI, marketing and trader education. Its website describes the first 30-minute session as free.Only after that does it introduce vendors from its own portfolio, which it says are screened on leadership track record, product differentiation and client retention, including churn and reference accounts. The company said it stays involved after the introduction, joining commercial talks, tracking onboarding milestones and reviewing returns once a system goes live. It did not say how it is paid."Most firms do not need more software," De Bruyn said. "They need clarity."Another Adviser Between Brokers and VendorsElevate Edge is not alone in the role. In March, former BDSwiss chief executive Nicolas Shamtanis and Stathis Xenos launched Conexus IQ to filter outsourced infrastructure providers for CFD brokers and prop firms. The release also points to spending plans in prop trading. An Acuiti survey produced with Avelacom found that 64% of senior proprietary trading executives expected above-average conditions in 2025.That poll of 120 executives at 103 firms covered professional trading houses rather than retail challenge-based prop firms. The release itself describes its procurement studies, including the Gartner figure, as cross-industry rather than specific to brokerages.Elevate Edge is registered in Cyprus as BDB Elevate Edge Ltd and was incorporated in September 2025, according to its website. This article was written by Damian Chmiel at www.financemagnates.com.
