Looking for an original painting of the Indiana University Sample Gates (limestone arches on a paved walkway, campus behind) on a wide canvas, 24x36 preferred, larger is fine if possible, acrylic or oil. Lots of open space in the scene. This is personal use, no commercial rights needed. Backstory: every year our league's loser commissions an artist to add that year's champion into the painting, in any style of the loser's choosing, so this first piece is the empty stage. The tone is deliberately over-the-top and mock-serious, like a museum piece commemorating our shame. It does not need to be polished. Aspiring artists welcome, goofy is the goal. No AI-generated work, please. Budget: $300 USD total, shipping included, US delivery. Timeline: about a month. Payment via PayPal Goods & Services or a similar protected method; a deposit is fine. Please comment on this post as I will not be accepting DMs, and include: portfolio link your price for 24x36 vs larger your process: do you share a concept sketch for one round of feedback after we agree on terms, before painting starts? timeline and shipping to the US bonus: are you open to adding future figures in the same style? Include the word "charizard" somewhere in your comment so I know you read this far. submitted by /u/REInoob21 [link] [comments]
