When I first shared AirFliq on Reddit, some people liked it. Others questioned why anyone needed another app for something macOS already does. Fair question. Since that first post, many people have started using AirFliq. I originally built it for heavy AirDrop users, because when you’re moving files between your Mac and iPhone all day, going through the same menus gets old. But you don’t need to send files all day to appreciate how satisfying a simple drag-and-drop can feel. Even if you only send one file a day, there’s something ridiculously satisfying about dragging it onto a little target beside your cursor and having AirDrop ready. No searching through menus. Just that small moment of “yeah, that feels better.” And you can keep doing that for free. AirFliq gives you five sends every day, with no expiry. If you only need it once or twice a day, you may never need to pay. I entered it in RevenueCat’s Shipaton. Didn’t win. Kept working on it, and now it’s on Product Hunt. So here’s where that “why does this need to exist?” project ended up. Test the drag-and-drop bit - that’s the feeling I built the whole thing around.
