Asking your partner to try something new in bed is scary. You don't know how they'll react, you worry they'll judge you, so a lot of people just never bring it up. Some couples go years without finding out they both wanted the same thing. I wanted to make a game that takes that part away, so I built A Little Bit of Corruption. It's a dare game for couples and it works like this: You each open it on your own phone and like the dares you'd be up for. Your partner can't see what you liked. A dare only unlocks when you've both liked it. If only one of you did, the other never finds out. When you finish a dare, new ones open up that build on it. You start with easy stuff and only go further in the directions you both liked. It runs in the browser, so there's nothing to install. You connect with your partner using a code. The dares are meant to be written by the community, so there's also a designer where anyone can see all the dares on one big map, write new ones, suggest changes to existing ones and comment on them. Reviewers decide what goes into the game. The hard part for me is getting the word out. I essentially built a collaboration platform, but very few people know it exists. When I post about it on Reddit the posts usually get removed. I'm not chasing 50K users. Twenty people who care about writing a good dare would change everything for this project. If anyone has been through this, I'd love some advice regarding how you get people to know about a project like this. And by this I mean the kind that is not finished yet.. that needs collaborators to survive. Also feedback on the site would be very appreciated, good or bad. submitted by /u/EdgarPanthera [link] [comments]
