Samir Ghosh, a BJP supporter, was shot dead by unidentified people in West Bengal's Malda district. Ghosh was initially attacked with sharp weapons and was then shot twice in the Ramkeli area. Locals claimed that the victim was killed by people following a rival political party. The two groups clashed in the area, following the murder, leaving behind six injured who were later shifted to a hospital in Malda.
