I spent most of my career in financial services, most recently leading ANZ Plus, ANZ’s digital banking app, to more than a million customers. The thing I took away: the money tools people actually use are the ones they don’t have to think about. So I built Save Genie. You save a product from Safari or a store’s app with the Share button, and it watches the price for you. It sends an alert when the price drops or the item is back in stock, and it shows you when the item is cheaper somewhere else. Lists can be shared, so family can buy off your wishlist without spoiling the surprise. In four weeks of beta, testers’ saved items dropped 202 times: 20% on average, and 60% at most. It’s free (15 items, with ads), and Premium removes the limits and ads and adds the Mac app. It’s live in Australia, NZ, the US, the UK and Canada. If you want to try Premium, code WISHGRANTED gives you a month free. What I’d really like to know: which stores do you track prices at, and does it read them properly? https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6760003412 submitted by /u/peterdalton [link] [comments]
