I built CuraCrew to help nonprofit organizations coordinate volunteer cleaning teams and manage building cleaning and maintenance reporting. *** I’d appreciate feedback on whether the purpose is clear. If you’ve coordinated volunteer teams, what would make you consider switching from your current system? *** Volunteer cleaning sounds simple—until you’re coordinating rotating crews, figuring out who can’t make it, and checking whether someone cleaned the bathrooms or encountered a serious maintenance issue. I built CuraCrew to help organize that work. It’s a mobile-friendly web app where: Admins schedule cleaning sessions and assign crews. Volunteers see their schedule and flag when they’re unavailable. Crew members claim rooms or areas and mark them complete. Everyone can see what’s left to do. Volunteers report maintenance issues or needed supplies, with optional photos. It’s already built and being implemented in a real organization. Features include volunteer invitations, admin approvals, notifications, and installation on your phone’s home screen.” The focus is practical: help volunteers know where to be, when, what needs to be done, and what’s already finished.
