Best types of jobs to work while having special needs children?

Wait 5 sec.

Hi, guys! I'm an RN x15 years with a special needs (level 2 autism) son. He requires lots of care and appointments. It's just me, I don't have reliable help. I can't keep a regular floor position due to this. I need to find a type of position that works for my family. I'm hoping you could help me brainstorm solutions on positions that work, or tell me what has worked for you if you're in a similar situation. My son is nonverbal and has 4 specialists and focal seizures and recurrent respiratory and ear issues that are sporadic and entirely unable to predict. So I don't know how I could do scheduled work.. I wonder if there is some type of remote contract work that you could do on your own time and be paid per task? Please share any ideas or solutions, I gotta start bringing in some income. Thank you! :) submitted by /u/Past-Path-8435 [link] [comments]
