PatreonTV – an open-source Patreon client for Apple TV (fork of an abandoned project) PatreonTV is a native tvOS app for watching the Patreon you already pay for: feed, creators, collections, comments, and native video/audio playback. It talks straight to Patreon — no backend, no analytics. It started as a fork of DevelopmentCats/patreon-tv. Upstream has been quiet for a while, so I kept building here and added a lot: creator pages with filters and search, collections that auto-advance through episodes, threaded comments, text/poll/image/audio posts, Up Next, Top Shelf, and four languages. Sign-in uses the `session_id` cookie instead of OAuth, on purpose: OAuth tokens don't unlock paid posts, only your web session does. Pasting the cookie once means no server and no pairing site ever holds it — it goes into the tvOS Keychain. It's clunky, but it's the only way without an intermediary. There are still fixes to make, but overall it's already usable. Distribution is sideload only: grab the unsigned IPA and install it with Xcode or ATVLoadly (tvOS 17+). I'm not pursuing the App Store — I don't have a paid developer account, and I'm not sure Apple would be fine with an app that signs in by pasting a session cookie.
