I’ve been obsessed with Japan travel for a while and spent couple of years working with Viator and GetYourGuide tours. One thing I kept noticing: the star ratings are basically useless. A 4.8 star tour can be genuinely forgettable and a 4.5 can be incredible, the difference never shows up in the score. So I built Roam Trips. It runs every Japan tour through a scoring methodology I developed myself, based on what actually makes a tour worth your time and money (guide quality, value, uniqueness, crowd levels, etc.). The score tells you at a glance whether a tour is worth booking or just looks good on paper.
