I have been wondering what will happen if the government or big tech companies decide to put a hold on AI. AI is coming at the cost of huge data centers which are in turn utilising a great amount of water. Most of the jobs especially in IT field are using massive ai based development which includes usage of large data centers and all. My thought is "What will happen if these AI are put on hold ?" . Will it increase the demand of software developer and will it decerass the impact of ai.
