A completely redesigned Gen 2 Baffle Module is produced by 3D printing, and additive manufacturing allows internal geometries that conventional manufacturing methods cannot produce. Sound and flash suppression both improve significantly, and the process lets weight, durability and performance be optimized for different applications. The module comes in two materials, each with its own mission. The 3D-printed aluminium version is built around minimum weight. That makes it a fit for hunters and sporting shooters who want effective sound and flash suppression while adding as little weight as possible to the firearm. The Inconel 718 version offers exceptional durability and high-temperature resistance. It is designed for demanding law enforcement, military and professional applications, where reliability and durability under intensive use are essential. Flash suppression was one of the key development areas. Every Gen 2 suppressor carries the new Silent Steel Flash-Guard, integrated into the front and designed to minimize visible muzzle flash. Combined with the Gen 2 module, it delivers excellent flash suppression, including on demanding short-barreled weapon platforms. The serial number is permanently marked on the body, so the serialized component stays the same through the upgrade.
