To all certified RNs, how much time in advance did you book your exam? And how much time did you allot to studying? NICU RN here that just recently passed 2 years of experience as a NICU RN in a level IV setting. I recently moved to a new hospital system that gives you a bonus for being certified, which is making me more motivated to sign up for a certification exam. I’m leaning more towards the CCRN-N vs RNC-NIC since I’ve heard it looks better when applying to nursing graduate programs.
