I buy real estate. Mostly commercial now- Run down strip malls, free stranding retail buildings and warehouse type things. I still have a few multi family and apartment buildings I purchased years ago and will still buy them if they are good deals. Sometimes with the shopping centers I end up buying the businesses operating within them. This comes with a lot of zoning laws and civil disputes.
