The U.S. Men’s National Team’s CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals series against Haiti has officially seen a venue change. Mauricio Pochettino’s squad will now face Haiti at Miami’s Nu Stadium for the first leg on November 14, CONCACAF announced Thursday. Kingston, Jamaica was originally set to host the first leg due to the ongoing security situation in Haiti. CONCACAF Council approved an exceptional hosting arrangement for the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) allowing them to play its designated home matches in CONCACAF-sanctioned competitions in the territory of its opponents, rather than being limited to the Caribbean region as required under the current regulations. The first leg kickoff time will remain the same at 4:30 p.m. ET. There has also been no change made to the second leg, which will remain at Cincinnati’s TQL Stadium on Nov. 17.The USMNT holds a 9-6-9 all-time record against Haiti across all competitions, most recently earning a 2-1 win over them at the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Haiti’s last victory over the Americans came back in 1973. November’s showdowns will be the first between the two countries in Nations League play.Haiti won three of its four group stage matches during the September-October window, defeating Trinidad & Tobago, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic. Their lone defeat came against Costa Rica after already sealing a quarterfinal spot. The USMNT will be seeking to advance to the March Final Four after finishing fourth in the 2024-25 Nations League, losing to Panama and Canada respectively in the Final Four. Pochettino’s squad is coming off a four-match window of their own, where they defeated Chile, Peru, Mexico, and Canada by a combined score of 12-3.
