The Goffs Tingle Creek Sale will return on Saturday December 5 at Sandown racecourse. Held during Sandown's famous Tingle Creek Festival, the sale was first launched by Goffs in 2022 and proved a success, with all 16 horses offered selling for an average price of £124,063 and top prices of £380,000 and £350,000.The 2022 sale enjoyed notable success on the racecourse, with graduates recording 36 wins to date, headed by The Jukebox Man, who has gone on to record multiple Grade 1 victories for trainer Ben Pauling, including the King George VI Chase. Other notable graduates include Grade 2 winner Only By Night, who has also been placed at Grade 1 level, and Wallpark, who has likewise achieved a Grade 1 placing. Goffs UK Managing Director Tim Kent commented, “We are delighted to be returning to Sandown after the success of the inaugural 2022 event, and we look forward to working with Sarah Drabwell and the Sandown executive to produce another unforgettable sale. The timing, the unique London location and the popularity of the outstanding Tingle Creek meeting all combine to make the perfect setting for a boutique sale of pointers.“The move to Sandown will mean we will no longer be holding our Coral Gold Cup Sale at Newbury, and we wish to thank Shaun Hinds and the Newbury executive for helping to make the Newbury sale a huge success. Ultimately, the timing of this Grade 1 meeting is more conducive to cataloguing the best horses required for a boutique sale of this nature and we are looking forward to working closely with the Sandown team to re-establish the Tingle Creek Sale in December.” The post Goffs Tingle Creek Sale To Return To Sandown In December appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
