[For Hire] College student looking for remote work — trying to become financially independent

Wait 5 sec.

Hey everyone. This is a little personal, but I thought I'd put myself out there and see if anything comes of it. I'm a college student living in a small, tier-3 city, and I'm trying to become financially independent. To be honest, my family often makes me feel like I'm a burden, and I hate feeling like I have to depend on them for things. I want to be able to support myself, manage my own expenses, and have some financial independence. I'm still in college, so a regular on-site job isn't practical for me. I'm looking for remote work that I can manage alongside my studies, preferably something I can start earning from soon. I'm open to different kinds of legitimate work, including: - Website creation and AI-assisted development - Writing, proofreading and content creation - Research, documentation and presentation design - Online tutoring and academic doubt-solving - Virtual assistance, data-related tasks and other freelance work I'm willing to learn new tools, put in the effort, and take on smaller projects to gain experience. I can dedicate around 2-3 hours a day, so flexible, project-based work would be ideal. If anyone here needs help with a project, knows someone looking for a remote freelancer, or could connect me with potential clients or employers, I'd genuinely appreciate it. I'm not looking for handouts. I want to work, earn honestly, improve my skills, and build a life where I can depend on myself. If you have any leads or opportunities, please comment or DM me. Even a connection that leads somewhere would mean a lot. Rate: Starting at $15/hour, depending on the nature, complexity, and scope of the work. I'm also open to discussing fixed-price projects where appropriate. Thank you for taking the time to read this. submitted by /u/2ravishing4u [link] [comments]
