Hey r/SideProject, browsers give you two options for history: wipe everything or manually search for entries and remove it by hand. I wanted to keep my normal history, but have certain sites disappear. So I built **Slate**, a small extension for Chromium browsers. You decide what gets cleaned: - domains to always clean, and domains to never clean (the never list always wins) - subscribe to any HTTPS filter list, the same kind DNS and ad blockers use, and Slate keeps it updated - two public lists (HaGeZi and Block List Project) come as a ready-made start; each can be turned off or removed One click on the toolbar icon removes every matching history entry. Writings icon means there's something to clean, a tick means you're clean. Everything runs in your browser. No account, no server, no analytics. The only network requests are the list downloads. MIT licensed, so you can check that yourself. - Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/slate/hcgiidknjjdnjcmedheaiokjpcabenmb - Source: https://github.com/ari92p/slate I'd love feedback! And please add a Star, if this helps you. Thanks! submitted by /u/Hazechen177 [link] [comments]
