Paperclip - a free daily puzzle where you trade a red paperclip up to the day's prize

Wait 5 sec.

I launched Paperclip on Saturday. It's inspired by Kyle MacDonald, who traded one red paperclip up to a house in 14 trades. You get the paperclip and a market of traders, each swaps once, and you try to reach the prize in as few trades as you can. https://playpaperclip.app/?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=sideproject First five days: about 300 players, mostly from a daily-games directory. Most people who make one trade finish the puzzle, but only about 1 in 13 came back the next day. So this week is all about reasons to return: challenge links that show you how your friends did, a Sunday Grand Fair, and Kyle's actual 14 trades as their own puzzle (https://playpaperclip.app/kyle). I'm blind, so it's built to work fully with a screen reader, and plays the same with mouse or touch. What would make you come back to a daily puzzle on day two? submitted by /u/phoenix_00916 [link] [comments]
