I built a free library of animated WebGL shaders you can tune live and export as React, JS or GLSL

Wait 5 sec.

Built this solo and it’s free and MIT-licensed. Shadeon is a library of animated WebGL shaders. You tune a shader live in the browser, then export it as a React component, plain JavaScript or raw GLSL. The exports have zero dependencies. https://shadeon-chi.vercel.app/ Details I cared about: Respects prefers-reduced-motion Falls back gracefully when WebGL isn’t available Unit tests with Vitest and end-to-end tests with Playwright Built with Next.js, React, TypeScript and Postgres I’d love feedback: which shader styles would you actually use, and is the export flow clear? I’m a freelance full-stack engineer (Next.js and Spring Boot). I take on a limited number of projects at a time, so if you’re building something, my DMs are open. submitted by /u/ig_suyas [link] [comments]
