[For Hire] Software engineer: systems architecture, applied AI, and automation

Rate: $80 USD/hour. Fixed-price engagements available for clearly defined scopes. I'm also open to full-time gigs. I’m a software engineer available for freelance and contract work. I design and build software that brings together models, application logic, data, and external systems. I can help develop a new product, integrate AI into an existing application, automate a workflow, or resolve architectural problems in an existing codebase. My work includes: - Model-based decisions: classification, intent detection, scoring, and workflow routing, with structured outputs that application code can use. - Context engineering: persistent history, context selected for the current task, access to current documents, and continuity across model providers. - Agents and automation: tool calling, MCP servers, API integrations, background execution, and streamed results. - Application engineering: architecture, data modeling, backend services, and user interfaces. I’m proficient in full stack web development and Swift. A concrete example is Scint, a workspace and runtime I’ve been building. It combines TypeSafe’s Jev for intent classification with deterministic context selection and execution logic. It includes provider integrations, persistent transcripts, an MCP server, background processes, and a document-based interface. I designed and implemented the underlying runtime through to the application UI. I’m comfortable owning the architecture and implementation of a project or joining an existing codebase to solve a specific engineering problem. That includes deciding where a model’s judgment is useful and how the surrounding software should manage state, execution, and results. DM me with what you’re building, the problem you need solved, and your approximate scope and budget. submitted by /u/kaechle [link] [comments]
