I built a tool that alerts my Telegram the second a company adds a new job, because manual tracking was breaking me

Wait 5 sec.

I’ve been hunting for roles for months. Dozens of open tabs, messy spreadsheets, and the daily dread of manually refreshing 30 different corporate career pages every morning. It felt completely hopeless. By the time a role hits mainstream job boards, it’s already flooded with 500 applicants. I was always late to the party. I’ve explored a few projects in the past trying to solve different parts of my life, but they all ultimately failed to work or just gathered dust. This time, I poured my frustration into building JobTrace, and it’s in active, daily development. Instead of chasing job boards, it autonomously watches backend applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, etc.) in the background. It saves states to a local SQLite database, diffs the runs, and pings your Telegram the exact minute a new role drops. It also spins up Ollama locally to instantly score the role against your resume so you know if it's worth your time. I ran the first real stress test this week. It caught a new listing at 6:42 AM before it hit any job board or LinkedIn. I was one of the first five people to apply because the engine caught the structural change while I was asleep. It’s completely open-source, free, and MIT-licensed. It's brand new and I'm actively patching it every day, so expect a few quirks as corporate layouts shift. I’m posting it because I want other builders to run it and tell me where the parsers break so we can make it bulletproof.
