The Manipur cabinet has engaged Pawan Hans Limited to restore helicopter services for remote areas. One helicopter will operate for six months, helping with passenger transport and medical emergencies. Loktak Day will be celebrated annually, starting on 26 October 2026, honoring Loktak Lake.
