Tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) are gaining traction, with tokenized stocks emerging as the main driver of holder growth. Data from CryptoRank shows that the number of tokenized asset holders rose from about 1.4 million in June to 6.4 million in October 2026, a 4.6x increase in four months. Tokenized equities saw the sharpest expansion, far outpacing tokenized funds and commodities. The figure also shows that a large share of holders is clustered among a handful of financial platforms and blockchain networks. This underscores the need for broader distribution and accessibility in the growing tokenized asset market. How Are Tokenized Stocks Driving RWA Adoption? As per the figures, tokenized stock holders increased from 502,000 in June to around 5.3 million in October. It represents an increase of more than 10 times. Their share of all tracked RWA holders rose from 36.8% to 82.9% over the same period. Other tokenized asset categories recorded more modest growth. The tokenized bond holders were at 559,000 in June and 573,000 in October. Tokenized commodity holders increased from 302,000 to 523,000.The difference in growth rates indicates that tokenized equities have driven most of the recent increase in RWA holder counts. Rather than expanding at a similar speed across asset classes, adoption has become increasingly clustered in tokenized stocks. However, the holder counts are associated with addresses, not necessarily unique individuals or the amount of capital invested. One person may control several addresses, while a single address may hold assets on behalf of multiple users. Consequently, growth in holder numbers does not automatically translate into an equivalent increase in the number of stakeholders or the total value of tokenized assets.Tokenized Treasury products, private credit and other institutional offerings can also represent massive amounts of capital without having as many holders as tokenized equities. The growth in tokenized stock addresses therefore reflects one dimension of RWA adoption, rather than establishing that equities dominate the sector by total value.Which Platforms and Blockchains Lead the Tokenized Asset Market?Robinhood leads with 24% of the tracked holders, followed by Binance bStocks at 23%. Both platforms have approximately 1.5 million holder addresses, while xStocks ranks third with around 1 million. Together, the three account for 63.4% of the tracked market,Binance bStocks recorded a particularly rapid pace, increasing from around 10,300 holders in June to 1.5 million in October. This expansion emphasizes the potential role of established distribution channels in bringing tokenized assets to a broader audience. Blockchain-level figures show a similarly concentrated distribution. BNB Chain leads with approximately 2.1 million holders, representing 32.6% of the total. Solana follows with 1.6 million, while Robinhood Chain accounts for approximately 1.5 million. Together, these three networks represent around 82% of RWA holders.BNB Chain also recorded substantial growth, rising from approximately 177,000 holders in June to 2.1 million in October. This is an increase of nearly 12 times. The figures suggest that networks supporting broad retail access have become important channels for tokenized asset adoption. The concentration among leading platforms and blockchains emphasizes the role distribution plays in the market’s development. While the underlying assets and infrastructure differ, a major proportion of tracked holders is associated with a relatively small group of providers and networks. The next question is whether this growth in tokenized stock ownership will extend to other asset classes. The October figures show a sharp increase in holder numbers, but broader adoption across tokenized funds, commodities and institutional products would provide a more complete picture of the sector’s growth.
