I built an iPad photo editor where you can move colors directly on an interactive wheel

I've always enjoyed color grading, but one thing that bothered me about traditional photo editors was how much time I spent figuring out which sliders to move to get the look I wanted. I wanted to try something different, so I built Tone Caliper, a photo editor where your photo's colors are mapped directly onto an interactive color wheel. Instead of figuring out whether to adjust the blue, cyan, or magenta sliders, you can see how the colors relate to each other and move them directly. I originally built it for desktop but recently brought it to iPad. Being able to interact with the wheel using touch and Apple Pencil feels quite natural, and I've really enjoyed editing this way. Curious what you guys think of this approach to color grading! If you want to check it out: https://www.tonecaliper.com submitted by /u/Legitimate-Switch-16 [link] [comments]
