Bred by Whatton Manon Stud and placed three times at group level in Europe, the four-year-old filly is trained by Brendan Walsh. She has been entered in the upcoming Tattersalls December Mares Sale as lot 1697.Originally a 38,000gns Tattersalls October yearling, the dark bay raced initially for the Dunphy Family Syndicate and trainer Gavin Cromwell, with Lindsay Laroche buying in later in the filly's European career. Bought by Galvin out of the 2025 Tattersalls December Mares Sale for 165,000gns, Fiery Lucy was making her third U.S. start. The daughter of Craighall (Dubawi) is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Mukaddamah (New Approach), as well as a yearling filly by Nathaniel. This is the extended family of G1 Prix du Cadran winner Invermark (Machiavellian).Newsells Park Stud's Without Parole is represented by G1 National Stakes winner Zavateri and five other black-type horses including Fiery Lucy. In the U.S., his nine runners have resulted in six winners there (66%).Frankel Progeny Strike Continent WideRichard Mandella saddled Brazoria (Frankel) to win a Santa Anita affair on October 17 (video). Bred by Bass Stables, the four-year-old filly is raced by Perry Bass II and Ramona Bass.Out of the dual winner Persepolis (War Front), Brazoria is the second foal and first winner for her dam. She did not deliver a foal in 2025 after visiting Frankel again, and her latest produce is a Kingman filly foal.Juddmonte's Frankel, who sired the winner of the G1 Qatar Racing British Champions Fillies and Mares Stakes at Ascot in Minnie Hauk on the same day Brazoria won, was in a close race with Darley's Night Of Thunder for the British and Irish champion sire title.
