I built three free browser tools for checking AI-generated drawings, models, and permit packages. No signup, files stay in your browser.

Wait 5 sec.

AI can generate a drawing set, a model, and a permit package faster than any team can review them. The output looks finished whether it is right or not. I kept running into the same gap, so I built the checking side. Three free tools, all in the browser: • BIM Validate (bimvalidate.com): drop in an IFC model, check it against information requirements (buildingSMART IDS) or a starter profile, get findings with evidence and a sign-off gate. Your model stays in your browser. • Permit Validate (permit.markupvalidate.com): drop in a permit package PDF, get a checklist against 12 Florida jurisdictions (Osceola, Orange, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, and others). Honest scope: it is a self-check, not code compliance and not a permit approval. • Revision Compare (revision.markupvalidate.com): drop in two PDF sets, see which sheets were added, removed, or changed. They sit next to Markup & Validate (markupvalidate.com), which does the same discipline for drawing sets with markup and 17 QA rules. It has a free tier, 2 files a month, that one needs an account. I built these because the correction step is where the cost is lowest, and right now it is mostly manual. If you try one, I want the feedback that stings: where the checks are wrong, what is missing from your real workflow, and whether you would trust a report like this on a real project. submitted by /u/Resident_Addition_61 [link] [comments]
