Before → after is in the first image. Yes, the orange and navy box guy was my idea of branding. We don't talk about it. What changed in this release: 🎨 The design. The orange and navy with soft shadows is gone. It's black and white on almost every screen now: hard borders, big headlines, urgent tasks get a solid black tag, and done tasks get struck through (the most satisfying tap in the app). Dark mode is the same thing, inverted. 💸 The price. MoveMate used to be a paid app. Now it's free to download, with ads. The plan built around your move (pets, kids, car, nationality), sync, sharing and reminders are in a paid Premium. Bought the old version? You get 30 days of Premium when you sign in. You legends. 📅 The actual point: tell it your move date and route, and it builds a checklist of more than 60 moving tasks, each with a due date. The timeline shows what's overdue, which is either very helpful or very rude, depending on your week. 👥 Moving with other people? Share a move with a QR code or an invite link and everyone sees the same tasks. Arguments about who forgot to cancel the internet are not included. 🌍 English and German. Roast me: is the new design better, or did I just delete all the colour and call it minimalism? 🍎 iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/movemate-relocate-stressfree/id6774324802 🤖 Android: coming soon (link goes here the day it's live) More at MoveMate.help #buildinpublic #sideproject #indiedev #appdesign #moving submitted by /u/AmazingTour35 [link] [comments]
