I've spent the last few months building a smart wall display. Thoughts?

Hi! I'm Ria (she/her) and I am currently a college student. I have been working on a product called mooboard. It is basically a smart matrix LED display that can show various things throughout the day like timed lyrics (my fav) as you listen to music, the time and weather, calendar events/tasks, TV Shows/Movie titles and seasons, and so so much more. It also has a growing app store with 20+ custom apps (with a public dev kit to make more) and free updates for years to come. I originally built this as a product for myself using an ESP32-S3 as a way to have something cool on my wall and learn how to do embedded systems work. Got a little too interested and now I have a print farm, and just last week I sent out my first custom PCB!!! I am working on making a small batch by the end of this year and have already started shipping dev boards to some friends. I’d love to know what would make you want one, or what would put you off. Thank you!!! Also, join the discord: mooboard.co/discord submitted by /u/officiallycdi [link] [comments]
