India is investigating Pernod Ricard and Diageo over the classification of bulk Scotch imports for reduced tariffs under the India-UK trade deal. The companies also face scrutiny over alleged use of prohibited flavouring in some alcoholic drinks. Both say they are cooperating with authorities.
