Elections for the municipal committees of Leh and Kargil will take place on November 21. These elections involve a total of 38 wards, comprising 21 in Leh and 17 in Kargil. The municipal elections are essential as both committees have completed their terms. The last elections held in Ladakh were in 2018, prior to its division from Jammu and Kashmir.
