Gatherory - An iPhone app for planning birthdays and dinners together

Wait 5 sec.

I'm building Gatherory around the planning that happens before a gathering: collecting ideas, working out what everyone likes, and sharing the jobs with the people helping you host. The problem I'm trying to solve is the birthday dinner that ends up spread across a group chat, saved photos, a checklist, and a budget somewhere else. Gatherory puts those pieces with the event. For example, you could add a few dinner ideas with different photos, use Decide to see everyone's Love It, Maybe, or Pass preferences, then use Manage to keep track of guests, budget, approvals, and the next tasks. Preferences don't automatically approve an idea; the host still shapes the plan. The iPhone beta is open, with English and Spanish support. Shared planning requires sign-in. I'd love feedback on the core tradeoff: if you already organize things through a group chat and notes, what would make a shared planning app worth adopting with another person? Is seeing everyone's preferences useful enough to get started, or would another part of the planning matter more? If you have a birthday dinner or gathering coming up, trying it with someone helping you host would be especially useful. Feedback on confusing steps is welcome too.
