Hey everyone! I'm a software developer based in Missouri, and I've been working professionally in the field for close to 10 years now. Most of my experience is with C#/.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and REST APIs, though I've also spent a fair amount of time working with React, TypeScript, and other web technologies. I've worked on enterprise applications for companies like GEICO and CarShield, along with a handful of smaller projects of my own. I'm currently looking to pick up some freelance work, particularly smaller projects or development tasks that someone needs help getting across the finish line. Maybe you've got an application that's doing something it shouldn't, an API integration that's giving you trouble, a SQL query that's become a headache, or even a feature you've been meaning to implement but just haven't had the time to tackle. Whatever the case, I'd be happy to take a look and see whether it's something I can help with. I'm certainly not going to pretend I can fix absolutely anything thrown my way, but I've spent enough years working with existing codebases, troubleshooting strange behavior, and maintaining applications to know that sometimes having another experienced developer take a fresh look at something can make a big difference. I'm available to start right away, and I'm particularly interested in work that can be completed in a few days rather than projects requiring months of development. My hourly rate is $75, though I'm also happy to work out a fixed price for something with a reasonably well-defined scope. Smaller technical assessments generally start around $300. If you'd like to know a little more about my background, you can check out my portfolio at https://jonnywesleydev.com. Otherwise, feel free to send me a message and tell me a bit about what you're working on or what kind of trouble you're running into. Even if you're not entirely sure what you need, I'm happy to talk through it and see whether I might be able to help. Thanks for reading! submitted by /u/SirNerdling [link] [comments]
