I’m developing a browser editor for printable buildings. Here are four printed examples

Wait 5 sec.

For a building on a gaming table, I want to be able to get at the rooms inside. PrintHaus lets you choose removable roofs and floors, while the floor plan and the height of each storey can be adjusted to suit the building you have in mind. I’m Sebastian, and I’m developing the app on my own. It runs in a browser and turns your building design into parts you can export and print. The photos show actual prints of a half-timbered house, a defence tower, an English manor house and a factory hall. These examples are H0 (1:87). The editor also supports 1:56 for 28 mm terrain. You can place doors and windows to suit the layout, choose the roof and work on the facade. Timber framing, stone quoins and cornices give the buildings their character. Surface details such as brickwork and roof tiles are printed relief. Registration at printhaus.app is free and includes one free test export, so you can design a building of your own and try printing it. If you’d prefer to try one of these examples, all four are free on MakerWorld: Half-timbered house Defence tower English manor house Factory hall There’s a full app description in English (PDF) for the other design options. I’m also preparing the Kickstarter campaign, and you can follow PrintHaus here for the launch notification. For your gaming table, what matters most when you’re designing the inside of a building? submitted by /u/Beginning_Remote_474 to r/3DPrintedTerrain [link] [comments]
