I built MooseChat. An AI chatbot for websites that only answers from the site's own pages, and turns the questions it can't answer into leads

Wait 5 sec.

Most AI chat tools are built for support teams with ticket queues. They charge in credits, and when the credits run out the chat stops, sometimes in the middle of a conversation. I also didn't trust them not to invent an answer, like a price the site never mentions. So I built MooseChat. You paste your website's address, it reads the site, and you can ask it questions straight away to check the answers. One script tag puts it on your site. Works with every website Where most of the work went: It only answers from your pages and the details you confirm, and every answer links to the page it came from. A second model checks each sentence against the sources. If a sentence isn't supported, the answer is held back and the visitor gets the lead form instead. When it can't help, it takes the visitor's name and number and sends you the lead. Visitors never see an error. You get a list of every question it couldn't answer, so you know what's missing from your site. It comes with a 7-day free trial: getmoosechat.com I'd like feedback, especially from anyone who runs a small business site. What would stop you from adding this? submitted by /u/ysf_khn [link] [comments]
