I work at Phinite (Founders Office), and my current project is a thesis I cannot shake: voice AI agents are the least supervised automation we have ever shipped. Look at how every other AI reaches the world. A chatbot drafts a message and you read it before it sends. A coding agent writes code and you review the diff before it merges. There is always a beat between the AI deciding something and the world feeling it. Voice skips the beat entirely. A voice agent's first draft is the broadcast, delivered in your brand's voice, live, into a customer's ear. You find the mistake in a recording tomorrow. Your customer heard it today. So the thing I built is what I call a producer for voice agents. Three parts: rehearsal, which is scoring the agent on real calls before and while it is live. The producer in the earpiece, which is hard rules on what the agent may say, book, or refund, plus a human pulled in at the moment of action. And tape worth replaying, a full trace of every session you can actually learn from. We are stress-testing it in the open: building five real voice use cases on top of it this month, any voice provider, any language, $3,000 fixed per build with infrastructure at cost. If you want one of the five, grab a slot here: https://cal.com/team/phinite-ai/demo The feedback I am really after though: is the producer framing right, or have you seen supervision of voice agents solved differently? Happy to get torn apart on it. submitted by /u/Embarrassed-Radio319 [link] [comments]
