For years I watched my wife take calls at night. Her sister, a friend going through a rough relationship, her mom about the bills. She'd hang up, do the dishes, go to bed. One night I asked how her day was and she had to think about it. She said nobody had asked her that in a while. So we started building Confidely, an iPhone app where you talk through your day with Anya. Anya is an AI companion (not a therapist), and she remembers what you told her last week. My wife is the reason the memory part exists. She hates repeating herself. We're pre-launch. If you're the listener in your family, what would you actually want from something like this?
