I've been building Athena, an open-source tool that analyzes Git diffs and ASTs to detect potential breaking changes before they get merged. I tested v1.1.0 on 55 popular repositories and found some interesting issues. One C++ performance fix reduced analysis time from 371 seconds to just 7.33 seconds. I also fixed false positives in C++, Ruby and PHP. The benchmark covered 10,680 diff hunks with 121 tests passing. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the project and any suggestions for improving it. Contributions are welcome! ⭐ If you find it useful, consider giving it a star. 🔗 GitHub: https://github.com/aaryanrwt/athena submitted by /u/Significant-Log-4272 [link] [comments]
