I'm building Vane, a native Mac browser in Swift, SwiftUI/AppKit, and WebKit. With Arc's December shutdown announced, I wanted to share it with people who are looking for a new home for their sidebar tabs and Spaces. Vane also has pinned tabs and folders, Split View, Peek, Little Vane windows, Easels, and Boosts. There's a dedicated import flow for supported local Arc data. The screenshot is my actual Vane window with the project's GitHub page open. It's free ($0) and MIT-licensed, and requires macOS 26+. It's still in active development: website and extension compatibility have limits, and there isn't cross-Mac sync. The README lists the known limitations. I'd love feedback on the tab and workspace experience, especially from Arc users. What would you need before considering a switch?
