My new tab extension just got its first paid feature. Here's how I set it up without accounts

Wait 5 sec.

I've been building Mist, a minimal new tab for Chrome, Firefox and Zen, on my own. With 1.17 I added the first paid part: Mist Pro, a one-time €4.99 purchase that unlocks Pro widgets (starting with a habit tracker). A few choices I made: No account. You get a license key that works on several browsers and computers. No subscription. You pay once and get future Pro widgets too. The free version stays complete. Search, shortcuts, themes, to-do, focus timer and weather are all free. Checkout through Polar, which handles VAT. I'd like feedback on the pricing and on how Pro is shown inside the app (screenshot 2). Site: https://www.mistnewtab.com submitted by /u/AorusL [link] [comments]
