I made a free browser tool that checks wall/layer thickness of your 3D model before printing (no install, files stay on your device)

Wait 5 sec.

Hi all, I'm the creator of MeshCake (www.meshcake.com), a free 3D viewer that runs fully in the browser. The clip shows the thickness check: it highlights walls that are too thin for your nozzle/layer height, so you can fix them before slicing instead of finding out mid-print. - Free, no account, no install - Files never get uploaded, everything runs locally - Also measures dimensions, volume, weight and checks if the mesh is watertight I'd love feedback: is the thickness check useful for your workflow? submitted by /u/MeshCake3D to r/3Dprinting [link] [comments]
