My name is Monica,a PhD student in Sociology at Stanford, working with Professor Sarah Brayne on a research project about aging in the criminal legal system. We’re focused on people age 55 and older who are currently or formerly incarcerated, and our goal is to bring attention to their experiences and help improve their well-being, both inside prison and after release. I’m looking to talk with correctional nurses and community health workers who work with older adults (55+) who are incarcerated or recently released. If you’ve provided care or support to this population, whether inside a prison or jail or in the community after release, I’d love to hear about your experience. Here’s what’s involved: A 45-minute interview, either over Zoom or in person at a location of your choosing Everything you share is confidential You’ll receive $25 for your time If you’re interested, please fill out this Google form. And if you know someone who might be a good fit, I’d really appreciate you passing this along. Thanks for reading! submitted by /u/monica654321 [link] [comments]
