if you've seen tangerine on mac: drag a file, tap shift, and a wheel of formats pops up under your cursor, this is that, but for windows, and free. it's called citrus. it converts images, video, audio, pdfs, docs and archives locally on your pc. nothing gets uploaded, no account. it also does quick edits like trimming a clip, redacting a pdf or cropping a photo. tangerine is $29.99 and mac only. citrus is mit licensed and the code is on github. not affiliated with the tangerine devs, i just liked the idea and wanted it on windows. citrous.app and github.com/Skytuhua/Citrus curious what people think of the wheel. submitted by /u/Skytuhua [link] [comments]
