apparently on macOS 27 you can just run fm chat in your terminal and talk to apple’s on-device model! https://x.com/AlexChhk/status/2112893927351296369 found the python sdk shortly after and figured i’d see whether it could beat me at tic-tac-toe. so, built a quick tui called tacintosh with three variations: classic, 4×4, and vanishing marks. all inference runs on your mac. no api key, and the model chooses its own moves. the code just handles the rules. was interesting seeing how it held up with such a small, clearly defined task. figured others might enjoy poking at it too!
