I’m the maintainer of Email Voice, a free MIT-licensed skill that learns how you write emails from your own sent messages and creates a private writing profile for future drafts. I started with a personal email-style setup and turned it into one downloadable ZIP containing one Markdown instruction file. The part I’d most like feedback on is onboarding: can someone get a useful first draft without needing to understand agent skills? You can use connected email where available, a sent-mail export, or pasted examples. There’s also a short synthetic demo in the README, so you can try the workflow without connecting your inbox. The skill defaults to reading only, asks before changing mail, and uses bounded batches to avoid reading indefinitely. It doesn’t run an email-collection backend; your chosen AI app still controls how uploaded data is handled. Repo and download: https://github.com/DEX-XL/email-voice The packaging tests pass on Windows and Linux, and I’ve run synthetic workflow checks. Real first-time user feedback is the next step. If you try it, where does setup get confusing, and what would make the first draft more useful? submitted by /u/Training_City6250 [link] [comments]
