Mumbai Port Authority has initiated a global bidding process for the Viksit Bharat Mumbai Marina project. This project, estimated to cost Rs 922.67 crore, will be developed using the DBFOT model. It encompasses a water area of 37.3 hectares and aims to accommodate 604 yachts at full build-out. Marine works such as breakwater construction and dredging are already underway as per the submitted plans.
