Hi! I’m looking for someone who can design for me a dark science fantasy, nonhuman, and uncanny valley take on a Guts and Absolute Batman archetype. Fully humanoid, not too monstrous, unique looking, badass, expressive, unsettling and very tormented looking. His silhouette would match such characters. I cannot quite place what he is other than embodying the uncanny Valley, like is he an alien, mutant, half-breed, Frankenstein type thing, I don’t know yet. But he wears magic empowered armor, perhaps cybernetic, wields a giant buzzsaw like weapon, just like his inspirations wears a cape or a coat over it. And also just like them, physically slays the most horrifying, monstrosities imaginable, in an alien/fantasy or futuristic setting. So I would describe the aesthetic overall as summer between dark fantasy and cyberpunk/sci-fi. High-tech Magic armor. I put together several galleries with references for the weapon, examples of the uncanny Valley, sci-fi and fantasy characters in general I like, the armor and some of my own OCs to help inform him, but it’s all random, not strictly necessary. I hope you are familiar with berserk or similar and know what the hell the uncanny Valley is and can nail down a middle ground between sci-fi and fantasy because this guy embodies a lot.
